What’s coming up....
Please join me on a painting holiday
in Rose Blanche, Newfoundland.
Saturday, August 25 to Friday, August 31, 2012
Accommodation, Meals and Instruction are all included in the $889 fee.
All you need to do is get there and bring your art supplies.
Accommodation is shared with two twin beds in each room.
Rose Blanche is a beautiful, peaceful and friendly fishing village about 45 km east of Port aux Basques, which is the primary entry point to the beautiful island Province of Newfoundland.
Rose Blanche is a working harbour offering a slower, easier pace of life and lots of wonderful views to paint, including the unique Rose Blanche lighthouse, which is a registered Heritage Structure.
We will be staying at RoseSea House, which is a comfortable and welcoming five-bedroom outport house, which includes one wheelchair accessible ground floor suite. Laundry and kitchen facilities are on-site.
A step away from RoseSea House is Madolyn’s Studio, one of the places we will be painting. It is open, airy and filled with natural light. There is also a spacious deck overlooking the harbour for both painting and relaxing.
So join me for a wonderful week of painting, creativity, exploring the area, down-home good food, and some real relaxation.
The holiday is open to all level of painters, from absolute beginner to advanced painter. As an instructor I am accustomed to working with a variety of skill levels and painting styles in the same class and provide personal and individualized instruction to every student.
So what could be better... a trip to somewhere wonderful while learning new skills, being creative and opening one's mind to the possibilities. And “island time”, well there is nothing better to help you unwind!
